Vibrafoam
Description
Vibrafoam from AAG is a sound- and vibration-damping material made of polyurethane foam (PUR). AAG VibraFoam is available in several different versions, which are selected based on the frequency and amplitude requirements of the building structure. There are 13 different versions available, capable of withstanding loads ranging from 0.01 to 1.9 N/mm² (MPa).
Vibrafoam is resistant to oils, grease, and various solvents. The material provides sound insulation at low amplitudes and high frequencies, creating a pleasant and quiet sound environment. Whether your project involves renovation or new construction, machinery, ventilation systems, impact sound insulation, or noise reduction from subways, light rail, and commuter trains, AAG can meet your needs for highly effective sound and vibration control.
Vibrafoam is available in thicknesses of 12.5 mm or 25 mm and comes in plates 2000×500 mm. The sheets can also be cut to size, die-cut, or trimmed as desired. Withstands temperatures ranging from -30° to +70°.
