What is POM?
POM is a semi-crystalline material that is rigid, hard, and resilient. Despite its hardness, POM is characterized by high impact resistance. The material is generally used for components requiring a smooth surface finish and/or for strong precision-engineered parts such as gears, slide bearings and guide rails, guide rails, rollers and wheels, screws, pulleys and cams, snap locks and hinges, engine compartment parts, electrical connectors, fuel caps, etc. POM is available as standard in plates, tubes, or rods, but AAG can supply a wide range of POM solutions.
