Teflon / PTFE
Description
Teflon / PTFE is frequently used in the machinery and food industries and is a highly crystalline plastic best known for its extremely low friction properties—in fact, the lowest of any plastic material. The plastic is also known as Teflon. PTFE Teflon offers excellent chemical resistance to acids, solvents, and alkaline substances, while also possessing good electrical and dielectric properties, being UV-resistant, having no moisture absorption, and being resistant to attack by microorganisms. AAG offers many different variants of Teflon/PTFE, including Teflon plates, round rods, and finished parts.
