Bearings the Femern Bælt tunnel

The bearings will be used for the Femern Bælt tunnel, which is Denmark’s largest infrastructure project and the world’s longest immersed tunnel at 18 kilometers.

Bearings for extreme loads and the infrastructure of the future

AAG has supplied bearings yet another satisfied customer. In this project, AAG served as a technical partner, exploring options to meet the customer’s specific requirements, which included resistance to heavy loads and horizontal torsion. Together with the customer, we arrived at this solution.

The bearings will be used in the Femern Bælt tunnel, which is Denmark’s largest infrastructure project and the world’s longest immersed tunnel at 18 kilometers. The tunnel will reduce travel time between Denmark and Germany and will become part of Europe’s sustainable transport network of the future.
